Things need to happen in the anime industry 10 years from now

I don't expect the anime industry to be perfect. There is no such thing.

Perfection is hard.

Just look at the same industry as music or games.

Both industries are not suffering from PCC as they used to. Music and games have developed tremendously in the last 15 years.

And yet music in particular still suffers from piracy (and royalty) to the extent that we've seen progress.

The anime industry will follow a similar path within the next decade.

I want to see in the future, 201 2018, and beyond …

6 decades the anime industry needs within the next decade:

1. Without global licensing restrictions

Map of countries for area locks.

Sounds impossible, doesn't it? And so it needs to be.

We are far from anything that has been around for so long.

Now in 2018 2018, you can still visit one of these annoying messages on legal streaming sites.

I'm surprised it happens in places like the UK. But I am not.

Indian anime fans experience the same bullshit. Europe, Indonesia, and many other countries are also named.

But what if we can eliminate this licensing problem within the next 10 years?

What does the anime industry look like if everyone has the power to stream animations without restrictions, borders, and country restrictions?

If this is true, what does piracy look like?

How much money will return to the industry as more anime fans who are comparatively more valuable spend their money on streaming services?

Not to mention merchandise and other anime products?

This is the case.

  • The days of using old business practices and how animators are licensed … should finally end.
  • And businesses need to come up with a new formula that is profitable, practical, efficient, and flexible to license their products.

This is one thing that will change the mobile phone industry at night. Because in such a situation:

  • Businesses that own licenses make money.
  • Streaming companies will be able to please make it easier for their customers.
  • And fans will be happy too.

If all goes well, the industry will prosper to a point where most skeptics do not believe it is possible.

2. Cut back on the distribution of anime divides

CDs and DVDs have been declining since the 200s.

After a long time in the anime industry, DVDS followed the same path.

Anime DVDs have been declining for more than 12 years.

But the thing is: even in 201, companies insist on spending so much on distributing anime DVDs, even though they know they lost money. And losing money for years, nonstop.

And anyway, I understand why.

Divides make a difference. Some people still buy and collect DVDs. The internet has not completely replaced them and will probably never happen soon, 100%.

But when you look at the big pictures, it's useless and stupid. The internet is not going anywhere.

Any innovations in the future will take the anime industry online. DVDs are dying.

There is no hope of trying to save a life, ultimately without any treatment to save its life, in life support.

3. Augmented reality

It has a video related to some initial ideas you would expect to see.

Other than that, it's mind-boggling as it develops in 10 years.

Virtual reality is still childish. It will take us more than 1 year to expect anything bigger than us in this anime industry.

So I will not mention it here.

But augmented reality is a different story.

Pokemon Go is breaking the barrier with AR, even at a 'minor' level.

But the truth is that what you have seen is only a small picture of what is to come in the future.

With Anime AR, you can experience your favorite characters in the real world. And I'm not talking about it weirdly, but in a way, that's interesting and intriguing.

If you choose, you will experience it only once in your life.

And more importantly, it will open up potential new business models for the industry.

That means a lot of money over a long period.

Demand. A large collection of anime shows on demand (old and new)

Streamy is the future. There's no arguing (unless you're sitting under a rock).

And more than anything else, anime streaming services require a large collection of shows.

Because here is the cruel truth as it stands today:

  • The only reason we use pirate sites is that they provide good service.
  • Part of that service is the unlimited amount of anime shows on demand.
  • Currently, there is no legal streaming site for anime that can even claim to be close.
  • Anime streaming sites are great for new shows as there aren't many old shows.
  • And again, this would mean you have to spend for these processes.

You can't really blame these anime streaming companies.

Japan is the heart of anime and industry, so anything outside Japan is at the mercy of how they trade.

But it will be a pleasure to see progress in this area within the next 10 years. On the big road

This one thing makes a big difference to other problems facing the industry.

4. A large number of anime shows are being dubbed (old and new)

This is another concern in the anime industry.

This is something millions of fans would love to see. Despite the so-called 'hate,' it looks like a dumb show.

Have you noticed how many subbed shows are released each season … without a dub option?

This only happens when the anime is popular for its own good, created simultaneously after the release of a dubbed version.

Yes, some shows that are not popular even get dubbed, like Angels of Death, Island, etc.

But in general, these are exceptions and are never ideal.

And this is still true in October 201.

Another thing to note is that the old program has to be dubbed many times.

Most of the time, we have been waiting for years to get dubbed for an anime show. And it's not like I'm ignorant of the reasons why.

Licensing is a donkey's pain. Everything comes back to that. And the dub show clearly takes time, money, and effort to create.

But still: it will be a very big deal to pull the anime industry in the next 10 years.

Even if it's just a small measurement, but big enough to make a difference at the same time

5. New, better business models

Business models in the anime industry are not working as well as they could.

I know anime is making money … that's a lot. As the years go by, the numbers get bigger and bigger. Don't make it crooked.

But I can't help but improve the anime industry's business models (how to make money).

Because:

  • We all know that the soul-crushing salary has been introduced in the industry. Which, of course, made the video an overnight sensation.
  • Lack of animators. This is due to the working conditions associated with the anime industry. The reason is mostly how profitable an anime company is.
    • And obviously, other issues are hidden beneath the surface.

There are many hurdles in building the industry's 'business model,' better, more efficient, and successful.

But maybe within the next 10 years, it's time for us to take the business models in the industry and give them some good tuning.

Maybe it needs a new engine.

Or maybe a complete change altogether.

6. Conclusion

If these things happened:

  • The anime industry is becoming more attractive to people working out ideas and building careers.
  • There may be (perhaps) better opportunities with more anime artists and manga.
  • Anime jobs will be more attractive outside of Japan.
  • The anime will grow and expand like never before.
  • And more people will be part of the industry. Whether they are fans, business owners, or otherwise.

Some of the things I mentioned can pull off. Or can't. It depends on what you believe is possible.
